Just got called a B!tch and I do not care
I called the Sheriff on the people who live acrossed the street (big field between us), because they apperantly decided to be master craftsmen at 10 at night.
I watched in the dark as the Sheriff department pulled up, and when they told them to stop all I heard was that b!tch.
Oh well you wake my kids and that is what happens.
Re: Just got called a B!tch and I do not care
Bitche's kids need to stay asleep
You called the police on your neighbors because they were using power tools? Not cool.
Well, it really depends on whether we're talking electric screwdriver or chainsaw.
I don't think it does. Either way I wouldn't call the police on my neighbor unless he did it repeatedly and refused to stop after I asked. I just don't think it's very neighborly to immediately call the police if something gets noisy.
Excellent point!
Hell yes 10pm is late for kiddos under 5 (5 and 2) who are cranky. We were home late from practice and running to the store, and they had just got to sleep only to be woken up by dude and his saw.
I yelled out the window trying to get them to stop (I was not walking all the way over there and leave the kids by themselves) but he didnt hear me over the saw.
The house they are fixing up used to be a crack house it was busted about 6 months ago, siezed and went to auction. They have been working out there till like 2am for the past few weeks but I have not said anything until they decided to break out the saw at 10pm.

They are obviously trying to fix what was previously a drug den - that alone would make me happy enough to try to be neighborly and give them fair warning before calling the cops in.
This. Wth is with you?

Right? I mean, you know the guy didn't hear you as you drove by, so why not just ask him to stop? Like, walk over, and just ask. I understand that kids get sucktastic when they're cranky, but you could have given him an hour to do a little work, and then at the very least asked him in person.
This is clarifying.
I'm confused about why you called the cops at 10pm but not 2am. You astound me daily.
Ditto Mary (VeryContrary) about her being dramatic on MN. We also think she pretends to be two people on two different SNs but just keeps telling the same story.
There are just too many things to call out (e.g., bitche's).
Apperantly.
I love it when parents think the world revolves around them and their wittle precious' sleep schedule. Get a fan in your kids room and quit being a biitch.
