My DH lost his job.

I feel bad for him. He is so depressed. I feel bad for me because him working was a good thing for our marriage. I also am flaming myself since I was waiting for it to happen. It lasted almost one month. I think he probably does a good job and he has a strong work ethic. My guess is him not having a filter and his lack of professionally boundries is what did him in this time. Hopefully it won't be another decade of working for his Dad once in a while part time before he finds another job.

Im so sorry Karma, job loss is so hard.  But he can work for his dad until he finds something else?  Thats good, at least he will have some income coming in.  One of my good friends has the same problem with her DH but he always manages to find something and he has been at his current job for two years.  I wish you guys the best of luck for him to find another job.

I'm so sorry to here that. That must be very hard on your family. This was his first full time job in a decade for someone other than his dad? Do you think he'll learn from this and not have trouble next time? Sometimes transitions are hard.  MAybe he just had to get this out of his system so the next job can work out.

What's UEI? He was fired. Thank goodness I'm the one with the insurance. He's a smart guy. He might be too ethical sometimes. He won't pump up his resume or lie when needed. I guess the positive thing is that I can keep my DS in the same pre school next year. I'm also glad that I set up my Mom's money in a trust for Jacob so hopefully that will stay off his radar now.

Yeah I was going to come back to say this cause DH and I were about to get out of the car. I used to work for the HR director at my old job, she said it was too much hassle to fight it and even if they did its hard to get them to side with the company so she just approves it anyway. Its worth a try maybe?
