I am looking for some pillows to finish our basement. I want something bright and colorful, yet sophisticated. I have already looked at West Elm, Crate & Barrel, Anthropologie (way too expensive), WorldMarket, CB2, Ikea....
Any other ideas?
Here is one example I really like, but it's too much $: http://store03.prostores.com/servlet/furbishstudioonline/the-519/18%22-David-Hicks-Pillow/Detail

I would only watch getting them from Target, because they have some that aren't removable. To me, they get all weird shaped after a while. I prefer removable covers that you can wash/re-fit, etc.

That is true. Same with Pier One. Two I bought didn't have zippers, but the pillows were the exact color I needed. I usually remove the insert and switch it to a down insert so I can chop the pillow and put in that nice center indent like they do on HGTV... but if the pillow is cheap enough ($20) it'll normally last me long enough that by the time it goes funny, I'm willing to just replace it anyway.
