spots on the grass

Fourth Anniversary

We live in a condo complex and since "spring" started and grass started growing back..the brown spots are looking more obvious. I think about 1 in 4 neighbors have a dog and it is a small condo complex. So it is just not my dogs that is making this but at least many of the spots closest to our front door are his. What do you ladies do for this?! This is our first dog and I really had no idea dog pee causes this :((( I am worried we are going to get in trouble with the complex (we are renting thru a property management company).

TIA for any suggestions!

Re: spots on the grass

  • If you carry a water bottle with you, you can squirt the grass after he goes - that will dillute the urine and minimize the effects that it has on the grass.
  • What yellowumbrella said.

My inlaws are CRAZY about their grass and the only thing we've been able to figure out is to try and get them to pee in the natural areas. Also, apparently the first morning pee is the worst. So if you can do something for just one of the pees that'd be it.
