PIP: Peasant top (updated with action shots) need your opinion
I made this little peasant top for LA today while she napped. It is about 2 inches shorter than I would like
so I am debating keeping it as is or fixing it since it is going to drive me crazy. So ignore the terrible lighting/photos and the fact that red gingham should never be paired with blue/white seersucker--too short or ok? I plan to pair it with O+S puppet show shorts in khaki.

Oh, so cute! Love the tiny, bigger, biggest gingham!
It doesn't look too short, but, I know looks can be deceiving on the hanger. You just need to find an even BIGGER gingham and do another ruffle. LOL!
I did consider eyelet...
I sortof used the peasant top pattern from Tie Dye Diva. I say sortof because I used the pieces for the bodice/sleeves for sizing, but then made a ton of modifications. If you can make a tiered skirt, the concept is the same.

This.
I do think a little longer would be better (or maybe the third ruffle a bit longer...something seems a bit off on the proportions to me), but it is adorable as is.
