Like everyone else said, it's a great city. I went for a week and stayed with a friend who was living there at the time. I actually turned 21 while visiting and celebrated in a beer garden with a group of ex-pats.
Best stroganoff I've had in my life!
It was a little disorienting to me that their language was so different. In western Europe I could always make out the signs or deduce parts of the spoken word. Cyrillic really threw me.
One of my favorite cities. Amazing! everyone should visit.
