Re: Anyone here been to Prague? Is it nice?

  • It's lovely! Lots of history and I found the people there to be very nice. I was just there for a week, but would have loved having a whole summer to explore.

  • Yes, I only spent the weekend there but I loved it.  Food was incredible and much cheaper than other larger European cities.  It is just a gorgeous city.

  • Like everyone else said, it's a great city. I went for a week and stayed with a friend who was living there at the time. I actually turned 21 while visiting and celebrated in a beer garden with a group of ex-pats.

Best stroganoff I've had in my life!

It was a little disorienting to me that their language was so different. In western Europe I could always make out the signs or deduce parts of the spoken word. Cyrillic really threw me.
