I can't believe that a year ago today we got our first glimpse at the teeny weeny little 12-hour-old baby that would soon become our silly, loving, snuggly, smart, hyper, super friendly-happy Zoey! Oh how time flies!!
We're supposed to get rain today, but if it holds off maybe we'll take a trip to the dog park, and we'll be hitting up the pet store for some birthday treats and new toys!
Happy Birthday, Zoey! Mommy and Daddy love you sooooo much!

Zoey got totally spoiled yesterday. She got a cushy new bed for in her crate (now that she's no longer having accidents!) and a new plushy toy that has an "ultrasonic" squeaker: it sounds like a puff of air to people but apparently it makes quite the exciting noise to Zoey, because she went nuts for it! We meant to get her a Cuz, too, but the guy at the pet store must have missed it when ringing us up and it didn't make it home with us. We'll have to go back and get it another day!
She also got to try some new doggie cookies at the pet store. The guy pulled out the package, which contains 3 cookies that look a lot like brown Oreos, but they're PB & Carob and seriously taste like Nutter Butters!! Yes, I tried one. H took a bite of one and then told me I really had to try it, so I took a little bite, and was like, "Holy cow! This is totally a people-worthy cookie!" I then forgot I was holding what was supposed to be a dog treat and popped the rest of it into my mouth, hahahaha! Zoey was literally dripping saliva in anticipation of the final cookie in the package. Best part was that I could read every single ingredient on the package; those are definitely some special yummy treats I'd give her again!
And then we got her PB & Honey doggie ice cream, too. Hehehe, she slurped up the cup of it in no time, flat!
So I'd say she had a very enjoyable day with lots of very yummy treats! What a spoiled pup.
