Tri girls
Talk to me about tri tops.
I'm doing an aquabike duathlon at the end of June, and I'm struggling looking at tri tanks. Most of the ones I'm looking at that I like (on Team Estrogen) say "Good A/B cup support." That's nice, but I'm a C/D. If I buy the correct top based on my measurements and their sizing, will the cup support they tout not matter?
I know I've got time to buy and return if needed, but the cup size description is throwing and frustrating me.

If you buy based on measurements and their size chart, and it looks like it should fit but it only says "good A/B cup support," I'd take that to mean A/B cups can wear it alone and C+ may want a sports bra underneath.
I wear this TYR tri top without a sports bra and am fine, but I'm an A. I also ordered down a size so it wouldn't billow in the water at all (I don't wear a wetsuit).

Where did you try one on in person? All I have near me is a local bike shop that does not have tri tops, and the big chain stores, none of who carry tri tops.
We have a few local tri shops that carry them. If there is an REI near you, they carry them as well.
But if you can't try on in person, make sure of the return policy before you buy.
FWIW, this is the top I bought and while it's my first and only top so I have nothing to compare it to, I really like it a lot.
Zoot Endurance Tri Top
I like that when it unzips, the built in bra shows so it covers up my ugly sports bra. Plus, the built in bra is sort of mesh like, so that it helps with drying out my other bra. It's not like wearing two soaking wet bras at once.
