    I need that button too!!!

  • It was mentioned in one of the other posts, but it's the indent designers on HGTV, etc always use when placing throw pillows.  They sort of chop the middle of the pillow.
  • like this?

  • I think the concept is kinda silly.. but I do it. Haha the other day, the bf and I were making the bed together and I taught him about it. It's silly... but just kinda makes the pillows "sit right" if that makes sense? So I do it! I usually jazz it up and say "pillllloowww CHOP!" as I do it. Yes, I realize how lame that makes me sound. Stick out tongue

you don't sound lame at all, to me. i do it for the reason you said--it just makes my pillows sit right, especially the feather ones that flatten out so easily.

  • But the pillows then go on their side, right? Do you do it on both ends?

We do a pillow throw in our house.

My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

  • I've never heard of this.  But then I'm allergic to down, so maybe my pillows aren't as squooshy?  I think the picture is a little excessive, looking more like pillow buttcrack, but whatever y'all need to do to get through the day, go right ahead... ;-)

  • On RHoBH recently Vicky was going through the house doing that to all the pillows and the importance she placed on that activity cracked me up.

I'm not a fan, either.  I kind of push mine in in the center to fluff the corners out.

  • I fluff the top corners of throw pillows back, like the chip man does when he stocks chips at the grocery store.
