Need help with QUICK easy dinners
My hours at work recently were pushed back, so by the time I get the kids from daycare they act like they are starving. Plus, DH works nights so getting food on the table is a serious feat, lol. I need help with fast dinners. They don't need to be fancy since my kids are three and one. Currently in rotation are grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, meatballs, fish sticks.. a lot of processed prepared foods that I'd like to avoid.
So, WC, what do you have that's fast, easy, budget friendly, kid friendly? LOL
Re: Need help with QUICK easy dinners
DO you have a crock-pot? That would be a really easy way to have food ready when you get home. If so here are a few kid friendly recipes:
Crock-Pot Hungarian Goulash
Roast Beef with Onion Gravy
Beef vegetable soup
If not, here are some dinner around 30 minutes that are kid friendly:
Mexican Chicken Casserole
Crispy Chicken with Italian Herb Sauce and Pasta
Chili Corn Chip Pie
Pizza Pasta Casserole
Crockpot Italian Chicken
Stuffed Cabbage Soup
Easy Chicken Pot Pie
Baked Ziti
Megan's Baked Macaroni & Cheese
Pasta e Fagioli
Pasta with Poached Egg & Peas
these are either quick, crockpot or make ahead...I have others in my blog too.

Tonight we are throwing some sausage, little red potatoes, and onion in the oven to roast.
Those little potatoes and veggies take almost no time to boil.
I buy the refrigerated ravioli for a fast meal and have a salad for a side.
The pepperoni roll in my blog is easy. I got the recipe from this board and it's awesome!
I recently added a quick and easy tag to my blog. I know every kid is different, but mine isn't really picky and eats pretty much all the same stuff we do.
