I use my herbs pretty regularly except for my chives. Help me with a few recipes I can throw my chives in please
Tonight I have my sage and rosemary on some potatoes, sausage, and onions all roasting in the oven. My sage is trying to blossom already! I had to rip some flower buds off to prevent it today.
Re: Recipes for Chives
My chives are wanting to shoot up buds to. Snip off 5 or 6 everyday!
With all my herbs, I make herb butter and then freeze. Mix chopped herbs in with a stick of softened butter. Reform into a log using plastic wrap. Then freeze. The fats in the butter really preserve the green color and freshness in the herbs. Great tossed in pasta, or on a baked potato or steak hot off the grill.

These were fantastic on Friday.
I also like chives sprinkled in scrambled eggs.
