First job interview in 4 years

I don't know what I want to wear.  Any suggestions?  I don't have a proper suit, but have a black blazer, and black cotton pants.  (I actually have 3 black jackets, a single breasted, a double breasted and a cropped collarless jacket).

I would feel super boring in a white oxford and the black combo.

I do have a black pencil skirt, the hem has fallen so I'd need to fix that tonight.

I have a really nice blue blouse, with a ruffle collar (that lies horizontally, not vaginally), but it wouldn't work with a jacket.

I have one pair of brown slacks, almost a putty colour.  I usually wear the blue blouse with these.

Re: First job interview in 4 years

  • I would definitely say go with a whatever looks nicest with the blazer. Maybe the black pencil skirt and the black blazer?

Is there any way you could wear the really nice blouse with the ruffle under the blazer? I need pictures. :)

Also - I don't know what it means to have ruffles running vaginally. At any rate, I'm glad they're horizontal.

  • Manufacturing.  Nobody wears suits, except at corporate, which is not where I'm interviewing.

Vaginally running ruffles are vertical, and a bit triangular.
