No, they're not the same at all. My H loves it here because the ski hill is right there but that's why I loved Vancouver, it's the best of both worlds.
I have family in Campbell River, Comox, and Victoria. I just picked my parents up from the airport after their weeklong visit tonight. I was super pissed we couldn't go with them.
