DH & I just ran our 1st 5k a week ago (woot!). We are running in a Marathon Relay in 1 week (EEEK!) & were originally slotted to run leg 3 of the race..... which conveniently passes close to our house & on a trail/route that Im familiar with, most of it is actually the route that I run 3x a week & its pretty much flat. So I was feeling confident/comfortable w/the run, even if Im freaking out about it being 6 miles (Im only up to around 5 miles right now).
Well, we get an email today from the person organizing our teams & race legs & whatnot, & DH & I are now slotted for leg 1.....FARG!!! &
And, as if going 1st isn't going to be bad enough, that leg has like 2-3 ginormous hills!! Gaahh!
I know, it will be fine, but, Gaaahhh! Lol!
