Re: WTF Bump post grandma strip searched at airport
I'm just completely floored that these things actually happen. Like, actually happen. I just can't believe it.
I seriously just last week flew from London to Paris to Seoul to Shenyang to Shanghai to Haikou to Shanghai to London with loaded medical injections in my carryon baggage and a shittonne of steroids and other dodgy meds and I wasn't stopped, searched or questioned once. Not once.
I didn't have to take off my shoes, in some I didn't even need to take off my sweater. No hassles going through security at all. AT ALL.
How do these things actually happen to people and how can they allow it? If someone wanted to strip search me I'd have just pulled out, told them that I wasn't going to be violated and leave the airport. No way in hell I would put up with having someone tell me to get naked so they can feel up my crotch because of a hand swab test. NO FECKING WAY.

Why would they need to feel her if she was naked?!
They have rules for people who have been sexually abused? So how does that come up? You have to raise your hand, tell them ahead of time, it's on your ticket? When they start to touch you there is a password? I have a feeling most people do not know this rule. I sure didn't.

I had to stop reading the people's responses that basically said this is OK.
WTF. Seriously? It is NOT ok to strip search someone. Isn't that what those full on body scanners are for?
I would rather take my chances with a terrorist than being sexually assaulted just because I'm wearing lotion.
