Best sites for making your own wedding album?

We got our wedding photos back, and we have a CD with all the images plus the rights to the photos. We chose not to get an album from our photographer, so we've got to make them ourselves. Anyone with a website rec for making a wedding album? Thanks!

  • I've used shutterfly for making all of my albums. I did a wedding album for one of my friends using shutterfly.

  • After much research (here and here) into various photobook companies, we went with Adoramapix for our making our own wedding album. I think the book came out great, and we loved the option to have a faux leather cover, the thick glossy pages, and the ability to customize your pages or use pre-set layouts. It's not as nice as some of our friend's photographer-made $800+ albums, but it works for us. There's a longer review on my blog (link in siggy).

  • I did mine on Blurb.  It came out nicely enough that I was happy.  I think if you go with one of the less professional services, premium paper and other upgrades are important.

We did albums for our parents on Shutterfly and they came out beautifully! :)
  • I did mine with Mixbook. I thought it came out really well and I was able to buy a Groupon to use on it as well. The paper quality was good and with the Groupon we were able to do a hardback with dust cover. If you would like to check it out, click here. I've used Picaboo to make our epic book and it came out really nice as well.

ETA - I attempted to make one of our honeymoon with Shutterfly but I didn't kind the website as easy to use as the others. I also didn't think they had as many layout options.

  • I used Mypublisher.com and loved it! I actually did 2 large photo books for our wedding photos. One book had ceremony/chapel photos, the other had our Vegas strip tour photos. I loved the large books and Mypublisher.com is always running specials so it did not cost me any additional for large books with extra pages.

I did a smaller books for parents on Shutterfly and Kodak because I had a free/discount book coupons, but was not as impressed with templates/layouts and quality.

  • I've used Picaboo and Photobook America. Picaboo was great, Photobook America's cover warped randomly.
  • Another vote for shutterfly. I've made 12''x12'' albums for our wedding and honeymoon pics, and they came out great. Sign up for their emails and order when they are running a special on the photobooks.

ETA: They are on sale right now until May 2nd.

  • I wanted a bit more than just a large photo book for my wedding album. A friend had shown us her so-called flush-mount wedding album with stiff pages and a real leather cover with embossed text. From the moment we saw the album, we knew that we wanted the same for ourselves. At the end we found this company:

I have simply uploaded my photos to their website. Shortly after they have provided us with beautiful design proofs. They were happy to implement any changes we asked for. Once we were happy with the design, they started printing and 3 weeks later we have received our beautiful flush-mount wedding album, which I and my wife are over the moon with!
