What would you serve as lunch for ten people? I was thinking some kind of make-your-own bar? No one has food restrictions. Thoughts?

Build your own ideas:
nachos/tacos: provide beef and chicken, a few cheese, lettuce, a variety of salsas, refried beans, and black beans. Maybe serve rice on the side and have margarita cupcakes for desert.
Chili: make two different kinds, maybe a traditional one and a white chili, serve with corn bread, chopped onions, shredded cheese, Fritos and spaghetti (skyline style).
What type of event is this?

What is the "feel" you are going for?

How fancy is this supposed to be? Another option is making maybe two different salads like chicken, egg, or crab salad and serving it on croissants with fruit and/or veggie tray. Maybe a light cupcake like lemon blueberry or peach?
Pasta bar is another easy make your own idea.
I generally cook penne and linguini in advance and toss with EVOO. I then have marinara, lemon-cream and garlic-oil sauces. I will have stir ins like caramelized onions, fresh tomatoes, cooked sausage, saut?ed mushrooms, roasted red peppers, marinated artichokes, smoked salmon and parmesan cheese available

The problem with some of these is while you may come up with all sorts of toppings, 10 people may not be diversified enough that all of these are necessary...
My friend does a BLT bar but the only different ingredient I can think of is cheese and avocado
