My Iron Caught Fire Last Night
I needed something to brighten up a boring Sunday I guess. I noticed that for the past week the iron smelled really bad when I used it but didn't think anything was wrong with it. Then last night I was ironing for the week and all of a sudden there were flames shooting up inside the iron and thick black smoke pouring out of the top. I unplugged it, calmy carried it downstairs and put it in the sink. By then the flames had burned themselves out. Then I freaked the eff out. How does that happen? The damn iron was a year old! And today I'm all wrinkled.
Re: My Iron Caught Fire Last Night
I am paranoid about things in the house catching fire, this does not help.
I'd email the company that made it.
