Planning get together need help
My husband and I are throwing a combined bday / party to watch a big boxing match.
I don't know what a good menu would be. I was thinking cake for sure. Then chips and pizza? That would be okay for dudes right?

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
I second an assortment of "subs", otherwise known as a hoagie tray in my neck of the woods. There's no temperature issue, so people can pick at them throughout the night. When drinking is involved, it's always a good idea to keep food out.
I would definitely make one or two dips, maybe one cold and one hot. Guys seem to really like buffalo chicken dip. I serve mine with Chicken in a Bisket crackers and celery. For a cold dip, maybe something ranch-based? That would also go with celery, and potato chips.
Cake sounds great. If I had the time, I'd probably make a quick batch of chocolate chip cookies or brownies. Not necessary, but I have a sweet tooth
