Ha, I wanted to make sure you read this.
Her son is seriously one of the best-behaved, nicest, most well-adjusted, awesomest kids that I have ever been around. And I am around a TON of kids.
He's not only polite and adorable. He's talkative, but not in an overbearing way. He's sweet, but not in a cloying way. He's smart and funny and just a really fun little guy, you know. I have thought this the last few times I've seen them. And at the BBQ we were at together this weekend, several people mentioned that he was such a good kid! (They also mentioned how sweet the girls were, too. They're shy little sweethearts for now.)
Just wanted to share with ML since I'm usually mum about IRL stuff and pass on a little encouragement to AB - You're doing something really great as a mom!
Re: Can I just share something with ML about AppleBear?
Awww, I love this post.
Awwww Go Nu :-)
You are a good friend.
Wow, I am honored! Thanks so much for those compliments! I will pass along to D would you said.
)))
Yes! Even DH who is admittedly not really a kid person and especially not a bratty kid person mentioned both after his party and after the BBQ how great he was! When he said, "Thank you for having me" as he was leaving in his cute little voice, I about died! I love all of them (but I still don't think I could ever handle twins like you do!)!
This post is making me feel awesome! I find it challenging to be a stay-at-home mom of a four-year old and two twenty-one month olds. It feels really great to get recognition.
))
i'm not surprised.
and nu, print this out as an endorsement for how awesome your kids are once you are back on the dating scene
I'm not surprised either. The patience you show in dealing with your marriage etc. would be a definite asset as a mother. Every time I see pics of your kids I think, wow, they look so sweet.
I think this is one of the best compliments you could get as a parent and I really hope that G is the kind of kid that others want to be around.
Awww
This is so sweet and I hope it helps you feel more secure, AB. You question yourself a lot, but you're obviously doing things right in the parenting department. Your son sounds like an awesome kid.
