Help id the dog breed

I saw a picture of a dog that looks like just the right size and cuteness for us.  Any idea what breed this dog is:http://tinyurl.com/75oaab3Note that we will fully research the breed before making a decision just need that as a starting point.

First time posting with a picture/link so I apologize if it doesn't work.  TIA!

  • Maybe a Wheaton mix of some sort?
  • Definitely think it's a mix. Wheaton is a possibility, but it's pretty small (my aunt has one and she's a bit bigger). The snout and coat look Schnauzer-ish, but the ears are definitely not Schnauzer.

I'm going to play it safe and just say this is some sort of terrier mix. Smile

  • Thanks for the help with the picture!  Schnauzer is on our short list so I'll have to look into wheaton.  I would love to be able to find a non-shedding rescue dog so the more breeds I know the better.
  • I think he's a Cute mixed with Adorable.

Mixes can be tricky and may not fall in line with their mixture of breed's standards for shedding.  Assuming that you're looking at adult dogs, the rescue should be able to tell you if a particular dog sheds.
