I just read our hometown newspaper and it made me cry.

A woman I used to work with's husband was diagnosed with cancer. They held a huge benefit for her, and at the benefit his employer (who owns a car dealership) called the family up on stage and announced that the car they had just purchased (and they have both worked hard for years and have only ever been able to afford older cars) was theirs free and clear- he just paid off their car loan for them.

I bawled.

  • How nice! I love stories like this.  Sometimes the negativity in the world is draining.
Always be yourself. Unless you suck.
