I am particularly curious about those worldly travelers who recently returned from vacations. And MarriedName, what was the best thing you drank/ate in Vegas!?

Re: Best Thing you ate/drank
You caught me just in time, OPS!
Vegas - we had amazing food! My favorite were the stone crab claws at Joe's Stone Crab & Prime Steak. The next night we went to Il Mulino, and the lobster ravioli with truffle butter were great too, but I was so full by that point that I could barely eat them.
Best drinks were probably the espresso martini after dinner at Joe's or the French cosmo at Mon Ami Gabi before we left for the airport - everywhere else I tried to stay with vodka & club soda.
Over the weekend we took H's parents out to dinner and I had a Thai cioppino that was unbelievable!
Best thing I ate this weekend was a BIG Greek salad! YUMMERS!
I am going to put my two cents in about the best thing I ate In Vegas.
Sugar Factory NY Steak and a Red Velvet sunday for dessert!
I totally forgot MarriedName went to Vegas! I can't wait to see photos.
Because of my allergies, I wasn't able to eat anything too interesting, unfortunately. I did find some soy-free chocolate bars that were delicious though...woot! I also had a tasty blueberry dumpling with powdered sugar made from scratch. This was a huge deal to me since I haven't eaten at a restaurant in so long.
Here are some more interesting things that MH had: wienerschnitzel in Germany; perogies and sausage in Poland; crepes with choc. and bananas in Czech Republic; these things called "langos" in Hungary - it's frisbee sized salty dough with sour cream, mozzarella cheese, and tomatoes (so random). He also tried a different local beer every day.
Best thing I ate was at the Casesar's Palace Buffet. I had the most amazing Chianti Braised Short Ribs. They were so delicate and tender and just melted in your mouth.
