Soups after tonsillectomy
So, I'm having my tonsils out in a few weeks and could use recommendations for soups to fill me up. I'm obviously avoiding spicy/hard/crunchy stuff, which limits my personal recipe book.
Any other recommendations are greatly appreciated!!

Butternut Squash and Tomato Basil are two of my favorites!
This is a favorite:

If you like cold soups, consider this...

beer cheese is one of my favs.....you could do broccoli cheese instead.
and pea soup.
Butter or coconut oil are good fats that you could add to make them more filling. And you could puree any soup to make them nice and smooth for easy eating for a couple days. That is what I did for the kiddos when they were 'pre teeth' and we were having soup.
