We have lived here for 6 months now and have met most of our neighbors.  One that we have not met is apparently doing some major work in their home (by the number of workers and the sound of buzzing saws).  Anyhow, they have a similar floor plan to ours and I soooo want to see what they are doing!!  Maybe it's time to meet the neighbors

most people who have work done love to show it off.  And it's a great way to introduce yourself.  We had several neighbors stop by in our new house specifically asking to see what we've done.  I was thrilled to meet them all and show off our new remodel jobs.

lol, there's a house in my neighborhood that's the same floor plan as ours that's up for sale.  I keep stalking the listing to see if they're having an open house.  It looks like they added an extra bedroom over the garage, and I want to see how much room it adds since we're thinking of doing that when we have kids.

So... yeah.  Team Nosy Neighbor.

Haha.  When I come home from work late and it's dark out and the neighbors have their curtains blinds still open (mostly before daylight savings), I would glance in their front windows as I drove by to see what decor/paint they have.  One house has good taste in paint and decor, and one has a (well done) photo gallery wall that made me smile and think of D&R.  Teehee.

My neighbor always wants to see what we've done, lol. They've lived in their house for close to 30 years and haven't updated much so she's always wanting to see what we've done. I don't mind.

I also love her because every time I see her she tells me how skinny I am (which is so NOT the case).

I'm glad I am not the only one. This weekend there is an open house event in our area and I can't wait to go and see designer decor ideas. I love seeing what others do with their houses.

Really?   It wouldn't seem presumptuous to me...just curious. We live in a pretty friendly area, and most people that I know would ask, but wouldn't presume that they would necessarily be allowed inside at that particular moment.
