oh what a day I've had

So i'm out of town for work and I'm on day 1 of 9 thank god they are not all at the same time. Today was as follows:

- drove 1.5 down at the crack of dawn to catch a shuttle bus to the hospital I'm working at. I got there 30 mins early since those shuttle buses always make me late.

- The hospital was placed on lockdown due to a gunman. I'm not sure of the whole story, he was on the 3rd floor away from me so I was safe but it kept me from lunch until it was cleared as lunch was in another building.

- They placed me in the ER. It's close to a military base that closed their own ER so they are using this one in place of it. One active duty member waited for 4 hours with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea only for the triage nurse to place eye pain above his illness that had arrive hours after him. He finanally left without treatment. I had to deal with really pissed off patients with no sleep.

- There was an hour and a half difference from when I get off work and the shuttle bus starts running again so I had to bum a ride from an employee to get my car from our paid lot since I couldn't wait an hour and half.

-I need a drink
