Should we paint these rooms the same color?
We just got a new duplex, but I haven't been able to see the inside yet. Our realtor sent us pictures, and it looks like an open floor plan. I'm wondering if we should paint the living room & dining room the same color?

The couch & armchair we have now is a tannish color, and the curtains we?re using are kind of tannish-green. We can get new curtains obviously, I'm not particularly attached to the ones we have now. The other furniture we have is either white or a maple-y colored wood. I was thinking of like a light, airy blue, or maybe like a stormy gray-blue? Any opinions or advice?

My GF had and open floor kitchen/family room and both rooms were painted coordinating colors.
If the sofa is tan, you should just paint a color that you love.
