I think it makes her look like a pettybitch. "Yeah, I'm famous and you're never going to be as good as me!"
h and i say this every. single. episode. she can never just give him a compliment. it's always a kinda-compliment then a cut down. she praised jermaine up and down, but honestly, i thought tony sang/performed better than him. she didn't give tony half the compliments she gave jermaine. maybe they had some beef on mmc? lol.
anyway, how fcuking awesome was juliet? i love her.
Yes. I think this is at least part of what's going on. She seems to want to rub it in his face that she, Justin, and Britney made it and he's this has-been who's trying to jump start his career in his mid-to-late thirties.
I've been wondering that too actually. She never says anything nice without also tearing him down. She comes off as a total b!tch to him. I think he's really good! I hope he wins just to rub it in her face.

Until this season of the Voice, I was a huge Christina fan. Loved her and her crazy antics ...thought the dirty video was bold, etc.
Now, I think she is a self centred biatch. Like PP said, all her compliments are about her. She always tries to sing.
And how about tonight when opera guy (chris?) said he sang Ave Maria for the first time as a teen and Christi a had to say, My first time singing this song at age 5.....
