Re: IN Get Fit Challenge

  • Hello! My H&F routine has been non-existent last week (oopsy) but moving, packing, unpacking and heavy box-lfting counts, right? :)

Things are looking good goal-wise 'cause this new building has a gym on the 23rd floor! Today I'll go up to join, get the card and get started. I might even raise it to 5 times per week.

QOTW: I don't think I ever clicked on the H&F board.

  • I'm holding still fitness wise as I'm in exam mode. But lots of random exercise like work (never stop moving and lots and lots of stairs). I had my first exam today and working all weekend so tomorrow I'll be going for a nice LONG run. I can't wait. I haven't run since Friday. Too long.

I like the H&F board. It's fine once you ignore a couple of painful know-it-alls.  Wink

  • I've been bad in the motivation to workout and not-eat-garbage categories.  Though I am done buying unhealthy food (that's easy enough?) I'm not sure how to force myself to get to the gym.  Hmm, thinspiration boards, perhaps?  I kid, I kid.

QOTW: I lurk over there, but they all seem to be hardcore runners.  I am so not a runner and can barely jog for 2 straight minutes, so I feel like a freak over there.  I also am a low carb subscriber (in theory, at least!) so I feel like an outsider because of that, too.

  • I did my C25K stuff, and today I danced around my living room... a lot. It was fun.

QOTW: I don't. Why? Because I'm still more of a knottie than a nestie and this is the only nestie board I frequent right now.

I really only go over there when I have a specific question that I need answered.  The posters over there are really knowledgable and I should go over more often.  I just don't.
  • I did work out twice this week, not long but it was at least something. I have also made an effort to eat more green leafy veggies. So I'm doing alright! I ordered two new workout dvd's because Iprefer to workout at home than outside.
