J's poops have been pretty liquidy lately. We recently switched to Huggies little snugglers diapers size 1, since the pampers newborns weren't fitting anymore and their size 1 is way too big. A lot of his poop seems to be absorbed by the diaper but there is still runny mess on top. He is exclusively formula fed now and generally poops 1-2x per day. I guess what I'm asking is whether or not this consistency is normal. I know his poop won't be solid since he's not eating anything but formula and he doesn't seem upset or anything. It's just runny! Ew. Lol
Re: Baby poo question - TMI
Aww, poor little guy. I hope he's okay.
I wanted to say that we just switched to those same diapers (nb size, though) from the pampers swaddlers, and I do think they make the poop seem messier.
One thing on the diapers, Pampers Baby Dry is a smaller fit than the NB swaddlers. WE used Huggies because they are a bit roomier (C had the chunkiest thighs lol). So, if your little one is more petite, perhaps go the baby dry route.
Any other symptoms of anything like a cold? Mucus can make the poop runny too. Otherwise, i would not worry about it too much. Even more saliva (if they are being extra drooly) can change poop consistency.
