We got a puppy!

so CUTE! i love long haired dachshunds.
i've never had a doxie before, so all i know is to keep them at a healthy weight. they will feel the effects of a little chub much more than most other dogs.
So cute!

Ah! Um, weight down, yes. Walks are good. Good quality food helps (no science diet or eukanuba or any of that. Look up one of those quality vs. cost charts online). Also, teach her to be lifted onto furniture and into the car. I wish I had done that. She should jump as little as possible.
