I posted about painting and reorganizing our laundry room for around $45.  

Here is the before:

It's nothing mind boggling but it goes to show what a little paint and some baskets can do!

I also redid my blog and it's almost finished...I'm happy with the new look!

I made a Roman Shade

And I finished the wall and floor tile in the bathroom:

And I installed the medicine cabinet and wall light fixture.

Nice everyone! I posted a little about my daughter's 1st birthday party. The day before the party my husband and FIL started renovations to our rec./bar room. New floors and painting done. Still a lot more to do but it's better than what we started with!

 

Husband also painted the floors and walls in the rest of the basement and it looks way better than chipped green paint:

I painted the stairs to the second floor:

And we added more art to our LR wall:

There's more in blog. Latest post is not D&R related but the one before that has all of this stuff.

How funny - this is me to a T.  First post all year and it's mostly pics of my dogs.  MrsEmily - I need to get those little shelves that hang down from the wire shelves!  Your laundry room looks great.

Sunday was 1 year since we closed on our house. I posted a review of the things we've accomplished in the past year. I think we've made a lot of progress and I'm really happy with everything.

 OMG I'm obsessed!!  He is so precious!!  We got a black lab back in November and I miss him being that small.  I wish we would have gotten some cute pics of him.  We are terrible at taking pictures other than him laying on our laps on the couch lol.  All 3 pictures are super cute.  I think I'm in love.
