How are you this fine morning? Anything good in store for today? For me it's skate day, so hopefully the rain will hold off so I can do that after work. I'm looking forward to the Biggest Loser Finale tonight, and hoping that Kim is the winner.
Aside from some very important birthdays, does anybody have anything fun going on this month? Skippingstones has graduation, I remember that much.

Where did April go!? It was incredibly surprising for me this morning when I noticed it was May 1.
Ugh.. maybe I just need more coffee.
As far as I know, nothing exciting going on in May.. hopefully this will be the month D finds a job.
I am feeling great this morning!! I won an iPod shuffle from work, and used it for the first time this morning, for a "fun run". It was a really good start to the morning
. I am looking forward to the bike ride home this afternoon, even though it may be a little warm. I am also looking forward to BL, though I kind of hope Jeremy wins.
As for things in May...our 1 year anniversary is Monday!! I am actually really excited. I ordered the anniversary cake (they make a fresh duplicate of our actual top tier from the wedding)! Other than than that, we have a wedding to go to and I am running in my first (ever) 5K. It should be a good month!
This is a busy month for us - we're traveling the first three weekends (two weddings and a trip to pick up our new dog)!
Plus, things like vet and doctors appointments. Just busy, busy. Surprisingly, June is wide-open. Can't wait for June, ha!

Good Morning!
I don't have too much planned for this month. I know we have BBQ fest, and music fest but their line up kind of sucks. I'm def going to the BBQ fest. Yum! Besides that, we have some camping and cleaning.
Those are the books that the show True Blood is based on, right? I have heard great things about both the books and show, but I don't have HBO. How many books are there so far?
H and I are celebrating our first wedding anniversary on Monday so that's exciting. I don't have any trips planned for this month, with the exception of going to Milwaukee this weekend. And I anticipate that I will be moving to a different bank within this month.
I'll be okay if Jeremy wins, I was happy he won the challenge to get the finale spot (even tho I wanted Emily to do well). I just hope it's not Conda!
And YAY for the 5K, you are going to rock it!

Hubby finally asked off for our vacation this summer, so now I can officially start planning, yay!
May is very busy month, have a couple of races, we're going camping one weekend, and away for our anniversary near the end of the month. Lots going on.
Uh, let's see. . .
Today I am having lunch with two pregnant women. So, I will hear all about uteruses! I am crocheting one a baby blanket but I am sure the other one will ask for one as well and I can not spit them out in a day. . .they take a while and I have another one I am making for another friend but I think she is very close to being ready to have that girl.
Tomorrow is my Anniversary- three years and it still feels like the first time! I am heading to the stores to see about something leather as a gift for him. I am thinking that we head to Dave and Busters for some video game fun!

My birthday is next Tuesday! The day after that is our first ultrasound, so hopefully we'll get a heartbeat and then that weekend I'll get to tell my family the good news when they are all together. I kind of feel bad that DH's family will have known for a couple of weeks at that point, but I think it'll be more exciting this way.
I'm also excited to go up to Dallas this weekend for the Dog Bowl, which is a big event where they turn the Cotton Bowl stadium into an off-leash dog park with vendors, booths, etc. MIL and I are taking Miko there on Sunday
Not much in store for today, but for the month of May, yes!
As I just said in May siggy, I'm taking H to see Monte Montgomery next Friday. I don't know music as well as he does, but H says MM is a fantastic guitarist. He's excited. (And so am I.)

It's raining today, but it's warm at least. I'm in an okay mood right now; we'll see how the day goes.
May should be a pretty good month. We're having a Cinco de Mayo party this weekend, so I'll be cooking a lot...and drinking a lot.
I graduate on May 17th, which my parents are coming down for (it's at Radio City Music Hall, so I'm excited about that). That Saturday we're going to this wicked cool food/music/beer/wine festival right in Brooklyn. Then Memorial Day we always go to my parents' house and we do a big cookout for the holiday and my Mom and Uncle's birthdays.

Morning, girls! We're in Day 1 of month end close, so it's going to be a busy week for me. We're even extending close by an extra day, but it's so we can leave work at 11 next Monday for a baseball game.
Should be very interesting, considering I'm still in a giant brace that goes from mid-thigh to mid-calf and can't bend my leg. But hey, I'm not going to say no when my supervisors insist on it!
There's not a ton going on this month...mine and M's 5 year anniversary is on the 19th, but I'm not sure we're going to do to celebrate.

D went to school with his daughter! He is really cool and plays amazingly on the guitar. Super nice human being also.
Today I'm just running some errands and starting to get serious about the job search again. I'm not looking forward to it but trying to stay positive. I feel very refreshed after taking a couple of months off from the pressure and have a better outlook on the situation.
I can't believe it's already May! Aside from job searching, I'm going to set some little goals and try to fill my time with things that will keep me busy. I'm way behind on organizing old and new photos so I have a lot of sorting to do, I'd like to learn more Spanish and stick with it, and get back to the gym. I also hope to visit some of my friends one weekend this month and see my brother before he moves to California. The weather has been awesome so DH and I will probably go hiking in a few nearby places on his days off as well.
Yes, ma'am! H's bro introduced him to Monte's music. I don't know the format of the show because it's not a bar or a club, so I don't how much interaction there will be between the performer and the audience, but I'm really hoping we get to meet him!
