What event are you training for/date? I've been training for my first 10k, which is on Saturday!
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Sunday - 5 miles, Mon - strenght and yoga, tues - run 3 miles, wed - 40 min cross, thurs - rest, fri - rest, sat - race!
Any injuries or problems? nope, but I think my toenail is about to fall off.
Highlights from last week? running 5 miles on sunday. I haven't ran that far since high school, and it was a huge accomplishment
What are you looking forward to in May (could be H&F related or not) ? better weather (hopefully!), more grilling and flip flops

What does your training schedule look like for the week? Mon- 3M + Strength, Tues- 5M, Wed - 5xHills, Thur- 3M + Strength, Fri- Rest, Sat - 7M, Sun - 35 Tempo
Any injuries or problems? I hate hill repeats. Other than that, all is fine
Highlights from last week? I overdressed for my run Sun morning and had to strip down to a sports bra. It felt awesome and so empowering.
What are you looking forward to in May (could be H&F related or not) ? See ticker. Long weekend in Puerto Vallarta! I can't wait to be sipping cocktails poolside

What event are you training for/date? Nothing right now, I am trying to figure out what is next. I want to work on my 5K speed, but I'm not sure how many miles I will want to be running come June.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? M- Rest, T- 4miles +yoga, W - Cross + strength, T-yoga, F-4miles + strength, Sat - Rest, Sun - 8 miles

What are you looking forward to in May (could be H&F related or not) ? My little brother is graduating this weekend!
What event are you training for/date? Chelanman 70.3
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Sun: 4.5 mile run, Mon: swim 2600 yards, Tues: track workout, Wed: bike either trainer or outside 90 minutes, Thurs: 30 min bike, 20 minute run, Fri: swim or off, Sat: 2 hour bike ride,
Any injuries or problems? My shoulder is a little sore, I'm hoping it is just sore and will go away quick.
Highlights from last week? Really hard bike ride with my team. I survived!
What are you looking forward to in May (could be H&F related or not) ? I'm looking forward to the end of may. That means only 22 more school days after that!
What event are you training for/date? Colorado Marathon THIS Sunday! Yikes!
What does your training schedule look like for the week? hell if I know. This sick thing has wrecked me. I hope to get 3 miles in today, 3 on Thursday, 2 on Saturday
Any injuries or problems? Just this stomach bug. It's been awesome.

What event are you training for/date? 5K this Sunday, 10K on July 4th
What does your training schedule look like for the week? not sure...probably a 4ish mile run tomorrow. I am planning to treat the 5K like a training run since I can comfortably run that distance.
Any injuries or problems? nope
Highlights from last week? getting in 3 runs...time is tight these days
What are you looking forward to in May (could be H&F related or not) ? DH finishing his PhD general exams (basically like huge finals that cover 1000s of pages of reading that he could not possibly all get done...sweet) on May 19th so I can go on longer runs. He is studying like crazy right now and there is just not time for me to go out longer than 30 minutes or so.What event are you training for/date? Fargo 1/2 Marathon - 5/19
What does your training schedule look like for the week? 4 miles Monday, 1 hour spin Tuesday, 6 miles speed work Wednesday, REST Thursday & Friday, 12 miles on Saturday and 5K on Sunday. I will taper starting next week.
Any injuries or problems? I was diagnosed a month ago with chronic exertional compartment syndrome. It's been a bugger to deal with at times. Luckily after my first 3 miles of any run, it goes away.
Highlights from last week? I ran my first-ever solo 10 miler and beat my current 10M race time by 3 minutes.

What are you looking forward to in May (could be H&F related or not) ? - lots going on this month, going camping w/ family and away w/ the hubby for our anniversary at the end of the month

Any injuries or problems? We swim in the outdoor pool, and I got so sunburned yesterday. Oops
Highlights from last week? I got my pace/mile up on my bike on all 3 of my rides last week!

Any injuries or problems? - Yes, my calf still in major shooting pain. I know I probably shouldn't even run broad street, but I've worked so hard. I've really scaled back my running, and Im just going to push through this one. After Sunday I plan to take 5 days of rest (atleast no running or anything that causing pounding).
Highlights from last week? - 5K on Saturday that was super hilly! I did not PR, but my first mile was done in 9.09 which is a first
What are you looking forward to in May (could be H&F related or not) ? Taking time off running to heal my calf, nicer weather

What does your training schedule look like for the week? - Luckily, I'm nearing the end of my training plan, because I have a flu/cold situation right now. I think I have: 2 miles today + 2 cross train days + 5 miles + 9 miles + 8 miles. Haven't figured out how that will all play out yet. Yesterday I took an unplanned rest day.
Any injuries or problems? - Just that I'm fighting a cold/flu.
Highlights from last week? - had my 12 mile run on Saturday & it went great!
What are you looking forward to in May (could be H&F related or not) ? - DH & I are having a kid-free getaway over Memorial Day weekend. Can't wait!

I plan on doing 4-3-4 rest 6 on Saturday
I still have a random swollen foot, it doesn't hurt and I have been to the doc so who knows?
I ran my first 5k for the year. 28.54.
We are having family pic taken in a couple of week, cousins wedding and the zoo all in one weekend.

Any injuries or problems? Had some strain in my feet which has derailed my running
Highlights from last week? No. Except I did Yoga on my own and really came out pretty sore. (I can't train alone. I don't trust myself. I am hardcore. LOL!)
What are you looking forward to in May (could be H&F related or not) ? Finishing up crocheting projects, anniversary, and signing up for two more runs.
What event are you training for/date? Nothing right now, but I'm trying to work on speed. I'm running a 5k this weekend, but it's more for fun. My next race will probably be in October.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? It's a little off this week because of my work schedule and that 5k, but something like this:
M - 5 mile run
T - 2.5 miles speedwork, 1 hour strength training
W - 5 mile run
R - 2-3 mile run, 1 hour yoga
Any injuries or problems? My back injury flared up last week, but it seems ok now, knock on wood.
Highlights from last week? I ran a PR 10k on Sunday (huge PR actually, by 8 minutes), so I was pretty happy about that.

What event are you training for/date? I'm starting the Jamie Eason's Live Fit trainer today if that counts. I also have a 5k on Sunday.
What does your training schedule look like for the week? Following the work out split from the trainer. Tonight is chest and triceps. Rest Saturday- Monday aside from the 5k.

What are you looking forward to in May (could be H&F related or not) ? I'm excited about the no cardio in phase 1 of this LiveFit trainer. It will be hard but I'm going to follow the program. Also looking forward to going to a wedding this month, and spending Mother's Day with my family.Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon (part of Grandma's Marathon) in mid June
I'm doing a basic training plan with intentions to help me finish the HM in a reasonable time for my first - not necessarily be super fast. This week I did 4 miles today, I have to do 4 on Thursday, and 8 on Saturday. Have to fit in some cross training somewhere in there too.
No injuries or problems. I did 7 miles on Sunday and felt absolutely great and fine afterwards!
Highlight last week was running 7 miles - it was my most ever...and now every weekend for the next 5 weeks, I will continue to increase that. I can't wait!
Going to Vegas next Friday through Monday! For my 30th birthday.... aye. Also excited to have a few weeks off from Grad School between Spring and Summer semester.

What are you looking forward to in May (could be H&F related or not)? warmer weather and getting back to a nice long weekend run every weekend. i haven't done that since before baby #3 and it has not been good for me mentally or physically
