S/O: Are your grandparents still around?
I was surprised to read that many of you have grandparents still alive. My father's parents passed before I was born, and maternal grandfather died maybe 20 years ago and my maternal grandmother died 8 years ago.
I would love to be able to talk with them about their lives now that I am an adult.

I have a 101 year old great grandmother.
And 2 grandmothers in their 80's.
I have one that is still around.
my H's aunt, her GREAT grandmother is still alive. Apparently this last weekend (she is 96) she got pneumonia, usually that is when it is their time to pass, but she went to the hospital, got better, and is back to normal now. Everyone is wondering when she will pass lol.
I have 3 grandparents. My dad's mom died when I was 12.
My mom's parents are in their mid 70s, and my dad's dad is in his mid 80s.
When I was born all of my mom's grandparents were alive, and I remember 3 of them (they died when I was 2, 10, 18 and 20).

I have one grandmother left. She is 91. When she passes a big part of me will be lost. I love that woman with all of my heart.

My family is young. My grandparents are all in their late 70s, my parents in early 50s and I am 30 and will be done birthing babies in a month. We have our babies young apparently.

Never knew my mom's mom (she died when my mom was 22), and my mom's dad died when I was in HS. He was lots of fun, and I wish he could have gotten to know his great granddaughters.
And my father's father is still alive and well... he's 96! He works out everyday.
