Yay / Nay

Yay:   I finished my first "real" book on my iPad reader!   (it was The Picture of Dorian Gray)   Now I can pick out another one to start.  

 

Nay:  While trying to finish it sitting outside in the sun, the iPad overheated within 45 mins and I had to take it inside to cool down before it would work again.  It wasn't even close to 100 degrees outside, so I know the iBooks will be no good for me when I want to read in the sun.

Yea: MH did the laundry since I'm hobbled.

Nay: Somehow he shrunk this shirt and my boobs are busting out. As a petite boobaged person, this is something I am not familiar with.

This is a yay in my book. 

Yay: I need to plan something special for H and the ideas are flowing.

Nay: Being as indecisive as I am, I need to just pick one and run with it.

YAY: I'm done with school for this term AND it might be refunded by work. [Woot!]

NAY: My teachers are so far behind on grading I have no idea how well I did and now blackboard is down so I can't obsessively refresh to see if they've added new grades.

yay: cough syrup worked better for me last night better than cold medicine pills and I didn't wake up every hour.

nay: still got this cold and am sick of it already. And I have a medical procedure on Friday for my stomach (going down my throat for this one) and I am kinda scared about it.

Yay: Our "Cinco de Miler" run is this Sunday. Beer, burritos, churros, running and fun. Our first one we are running together

Nay: We have not really trained for it. I feel the weight adding on to me, slowing me down. LOL! (also, I have to work on hubby's muscles in his leg before he tears them again.)

Yay--I think my bike is fixed, so I can ride home tonight without fighting myself.

Nay--I think it is actually going to be a little warmer and more humid than I thought.

Yay: After looking at our expenses and bills, H and I saved more money than we anticipated these past two months!

Nay: My leg is still sore and bleeding from my surgery last week and I'm not able to run for at least 2 weeks now

Yay: I'm making a face mask using papaya seeds tonight. I had saved some papaya seeds and planned to use them for a salad or something but we never did, so I figured I should use them soon. And while that's on my face, I'll be making dinner! Broccoli and cheese chicken pasta. Mmmm

Nay: I was going to work on a project at work today and forgot the essential part.

I'm going to go against the grain and start with my Nay.

Nay: Our air conditioner has been broken since Wednesday. I've been very positive and not complained about it up to this point, but with Aunt Flow visiting, I'm really getting tired of sleeping in my 75 degree, humid bedroom.

Yay: The guy should be coming today to install a new AC unit.

Yay: For the work trip I leave for this weekend (San Diego), I get to come home a day earlier than I had thought.

Nay: That means I probably won't get to see my friend who lives there.

Yay:  I'm down to using one crutch consistently and I'm even walking w/o any crutches around the little area that my department sits in!!

Nay:  I'm still at least a couple of months away from being able to go back to yoga...and that's being very optimistic.
