canada's version of the bachelor show is coming to canadian tv soon.  they announced the bachelor today and it is 28 yr old brad smith who is a CFL player [canadian football league] for the edmonton eskimos.  he makes $45K/year.

    And most of them have other jobs. I had an Edmonton Eskimo as a teacher once.

    ETA: ew, he's not even cute. How hard would it have been to find a hockey player? Even one from a farm team would have better prospects. This dude's going to be selling cars in 5 years tops.

    Yeah, I knew a couple of guys in college, and when their dream of the NFL didn't transpire, to Canada they went... CFL baby!! :)
