F/U to my stuffed shells recipe post
If I want to sub the 1 (28 ounce) jar pasta sauce with homemade, what's a quick & easy way to do it? i.e. how would I whip up a quick sauce?
As always - TIA!
One beautiful toddler and one beautiful baby.
Re: F/U to my stuffed shells recipe post
I don't measure for my pasta sauce, but Melissa has some recipes in her blog:
Meat sauce
Marinara
Vodka sauce
I think any of the three would work. The marinara is going to be closest to the jarred sauce, meat sauce will be heartier, and the vodka sauce will be very rich. Just use as much as you need.
