Answers:

Purple flowers = petunias.  Happy face flowers = pansies (some of them look like smiley faces)

and did you know that squirls will eat tulip bulbs. and also dig them up and bury them some place else so you can have tulips coming up in different places where you didn't plant them. who knew.

My mom is notorious for not hitting reply all.  So she replied to me and asked why brown rice was better than white rice.  I replied all.  My dad and sister never saw the original question, they just got an email from me on the health benefits of whole grain and were like, where the fuucck did this come from?
