I know this is petty but I am still bummed

I entered our puppy in a "cutest puppy contest".  It is related to the American Cancer Society Fundraising event for our area. The voting (based on their facebook announcement) was supposed to end on Sunday midnight. Based on this we won by 90 votes, even made sure and checked first thing when I woke up yesterday. Lo and behold they never closed the voting and (have not checked since yesterday morning) but we ended up losing by 10 votes!! They were supposed to officially announce the winner today so I was really bummed when I noticed that the numbers and rankings have changed (( I know it is a silly game but it's disappointing to see it end that way.

That's really annoying is there anyone that you can contact to set them straight?

I can understand your disappointment. Someone should have been online from their company at midnight to see the real end.

I was not going to say anything since it is not really like a HUGE deal (its not like winning BIG) we were just suppose to kick off a race and get a free t-shirt. But it was real bummer to think that you won and then feel cheated on. I felt I had the right to point out the error. I have sent an email saying that I do not contest the results and copy-pasted their rules. Mainly I said that I hope (since this is an annual event) and they set their rules straight and follow them so this does not happen again. We are still excited to go to the event since all the activities are for the dogs and this will be our first walk and I am still super excited about the event itself.
