Moms-what products do you use for your kids?

What shampoo? I've been using Aveeno Body Wash and Shampoo and then Mixed Chicks conditioner for dd

What body wash?

What sunscreen?  I've been using Neutrogena Pure Baby but it's kind of expensive.  I'd like to switch if there is another good option out there.

Re: Moms-what products do you use for your kids?

  • I alternate between California Baby and Burt's Bees. For sunblock, I use California Baby.
    Lilypie Pregnancy tickers
  • whatever is on sale! Stick out tongue

exceptions: Aveeno Eczema Therapy, Johnson and Johnson's No more tangles leave in conditioner

  • We use CA Baby shampoo and conditioner.  I think I've used their sunscreen, too, and the Neutrogena pure baby.  But for sunscreen, I'll also use whatever we've got in hand if we don't have either of those.

  • California Baby "free"/"no scent" bath wash and lotion

    Cerave cream

Nutrogena Pure & Free sunscreen -- you should always use a physical block vs. chemical block.  I think the only good ones for kids are the Nurtrogena, Blue Lizard and California Baby.

  • I use Dove soap for both kids (ages 6 and 2). For Caroline's hair I use Suave Kids Shampoo and an adult Sauve conditioner. For Evan I'm use regular baby shampoo.

When they were babies I used Target Up & Up Hair & Body Wash.

Sunscreen I just use Target's brand.

Actually, I just read something about questionable ingredients in the California baby sunscreen. We can't get the Neutrogena pure here but I've read its the best. I use Badger.

I use Burt's Bees shampoo and creams. I use Method Baby body wash and sometimes I use it on her hair.

Ahh - they recently changed up their ingredients in all their products (apparently to make them more shelf stable) and people are PIST.  I wonder if the sunscreen issues coincide with this.

  • Neutrogena bath oil

    Aveeno body wash

Plain old Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo

    Neutrogena sunscreen.

  • Aveeno body products (body wash, lotion), Neutrogena sunscreen (the spray kind, we usually get a BOGO every summer at Kroger and it lasts us the entire summer). I just recently started using real shampoo and conditioner on his hair. He has some mild cradle cap (that's what the lady who cut his hair called it) so I've been using my expensive asss shampoo/conditioner on him for now.

  • shampoo/conditioners:  John Masters Organics

body wash:  Weleda Baby body wash

sunscreen:  John Masters or Badger sunscreen

  • I use this:

    http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/shea-moisture-organic-raw-shea-chamomile-%26-argan-oil-baby-head-to-toe-wash-%26-shampoo/ID=prod6065250-product

It has a long name, but it's organic blahblahblah with shea and argan oil combination body wash/shampoo. For conditioning, I just use a Fructis conditioner with argan oil, nothing special. DD1's hair was getting kind of dry, but now it's much softer and more manageable since switching to this combination. And I really like the way it smells, too. :)

I usually use Neutrogena sunblock, but I can't remember what brand the tube is that I recently bought. I've heard good things about Blue Lizard, too.

  • Pinky's hair looks like ass if I don't let her use decent shampoo and conditioner. Right now she's using Organix or something like that.

For body wash, she's using this Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit scrub. She gets these bumps on her upper arms and the scrub is one of the few products that helps clear them up.

I haven't bought any sunscreen yet. I'm a godawful mother.

Peteybird refuses to use anything that isn't made for men, specifically for men. I think he's currently using Dial 3in1 for men.

I use regular old Johnson and Johnson head to toe baby wash on pudding.
