need pots and pans recommendation

Re: need pots and pans recommendation

  • I would recommend thinking about which pots and pans you use the most... (size, style) then find a quality brand, in your price point and purchase a few individual pieces...

I have calphalon non-stick and all-clad ss and I love them.

  • Love my all clad SS, they cook very well and have held up great over the last 8 years, I think they'll last me a very long time... I agree whatever route you go, buy them piecemeal in the order you use them most. My most used is my saute pan by far (10 or 12 inch?) and my saucepan but the saute pan is more important to me since the sauce pan is more for boiling pasta or heating up stuff...
  • I also have a mix of Calphalon and All Clad Tri Ply, as well as a bunch of cast iron pieces that we bought over time based on what our needs were.

Sets are easy to purchase, but you'll probably end up paying for pots and pans that you might never use.
