Advice Needed!

I am visiting you ladies because I was looking for some advice.  I am moving down to Orlando, from Northern Michigan, for three months starting in January and I was hoping somone would have some advice on somewhere for me to stay while I am there.  I am looking for something cheap, close to Sea World (that is where I will be working) and something that is furnished.  Any advice would be appreciated!  TIA!

Re: Advice Needed!

  • I don't have any advice about furnished apartments...my knowledge is very limited in that area. However, I moved down here 5 years ago from Mid-Michigan and never looked back.  You'll love the weather down here that time of year!

  • Yeah, I am glad to be missing most of winter this year!  Definelty a plus, I am getting tired of having so much snow for so long!

I just hope that I can find somewhere affordable to live while I am down there!

  • I am not sure about the Sea World area, but there seems to be a huge inventory of rentals in Orlando. Have you consulted a realtor? A lot of them seem to be doing a lot of rental agreements, and I don't think it costs the renter anything to work with them. I don't know of any agents specifically, but I know a few of the girls here have some names if you are interested.

Good luck! What do you do for Sea World?

  • I used to live at the Broadwater apartments right by Sea World (five min). Though they are not fancy by any means they get the job done and I never had any problems living there. It used to be cheap and went way up over the time I lived there. I have no idea how much it costs now though.

I do have one thing to say about them, we went through the hurricanes and everything stayed in tact.... Mission Club (I think they are condo now) down the street had massive roof damage.

  • The only thing that I know of that is furnished would be one of those "weekly hotels" in the area...there's one about 10 minutes from Sea World, but nothing closer.  We used to live in the Vinings at Westwood apartments and they weren't terrible.
  • Thanks for the advice, I will go on those leads...

I am sctually going to be working for Aquatica for a bit.  Thank you again!

I can't believe I get to get out of the snow for three months!
