F/U to my "emo" post yesterday (lol)

MY FLASH DRIVE WAS FOUND!!!!

My boss called today and said "um, was your flash drive red and black Lexar?" and I nearly jumped out of my skin. The 4-year-old child of one of our clients found it in the grass outside of our office. HOW it got in the grass, I don't know. (I avoid grass when possible, it makes me itchy.)

We got a recommendation for another realtor today as well. From a coworker. She goes to her church and she described her as "a shark" and that she sold houses left and right, even while the market was down (not as down as other places, our COL is super low and we never peaked here) so I'm hopeful that maybe another realtor will give us a more positive outlook. The one we met with this weekend is our age and fairly new to being a realtor.

Yeah, we've been working on getting our house ready for about 6 months (new roof due to storm damage pretty much down to the new carpet we're having installed in about a week or two) and we're getting close, so we had someone come out and look at it and they basically said we'll lose money if we have to pay closing costs. Especially tough to hear since we've put about $3k into it getting it cleaned up and ready to sell. The list of things we had to do (due to the age of the house or the neglect of the previous owners) was long.
