H is such a manly man
DH and a friend successfully caught and killed (legally) an alligator tonight. They both then managed to turn, very quickly, into little school girls. They were so excited and started texting everyone that might care even a little. It's a pretty good sized animal, about 93 inches from nose to the tip of its tail. Currently, they are getting the meat (and possibly the hide) off of it so we can cook it up at our crawfish boil in a couple weeks.
I cannot believe how excited he and our friend have been over this alligator the last 2 days. It's like freaking Santa was here.

If the State of Texas still allowed last meals for death row inmates, I think boiled crawfish, with corn on the cob and baby red potatoes would be my choice.
And alligator is tasty. There's something about killing them, though, that turns grown men into little boys, I agree. I've seen this occur many times in my family.
