I keep having awful dreams
Last night I dreamed I was at a bar with a fully-functioning hospice and mortuary in it. There was also a big picture on the wall of a baby next to 2 dead people.
The night before, I (and the cast of Grey's Anatomy) were being chased by a murderer.
I'm waking up all edgy and kerfuffled. WTF? I don't even want to go to sleep if I'm going to have bad dreams like these.
Re: I keep having awful dreams
Are you tracking the time of your dreams? If you see a pattern sometimes it can help to interupt your sleep.
How long have you been having them? Can you tie them to an event?
i have vivid dreams a lot. sometimes they're awful (watching a family member slowly die in a car crash, people trying to break in and kill me,) sometimes they're really good (not appropriate for the nest.) i'm a deep sleeper and have a big imagination so i chalk it up to that.
if you're not on any new meds i wouldn't worry too much about it. a lot of times i can think up a story while i'm trying to fall asleep (like imagining that i live on a beach w/ mark wahlberg) and i'll dream about something/someone related to that.
