Holy Hell!

I started training in January for a 5k, I started running outside but when thegot longer I ran on the treadmill, with my 5k coming up in a few weeks I thought Id better get used to running outside again. I started up today---after a thunderstorm and 70degrees by 9 AM. yikes! Running in humidity is really tough! It was sooo thick and I was sweating bullets although I barely did 3 miles. Oh well better get used to it.

Re: Holy Hell!

  • I hate the heat.  It made me sad yesterday when I realized I had to run in 80+ temps.
  • Just think how pleasent your next run will be if it's not in the humidty!!

  • Yup, heat and humidity = run killers
  • I just did my first hot and humid run of the season on my lunch break. So unpleasant. Can you get up and run before it gets super gross outside? I usually go assearly in the morning to avoid the heat.
