We want to know: What D&R project are you working on right now? It can be a DIY craft or a full-blown renovation! We're having a post-off contest on this board from now until 5 p.m. on Saturday, 5/5!

I'm working my decorating my craft room. I am looking for some curtains that are lime green, teal, navy and yellow. I spray painted a book shelf green, I am working on framing some pictures for a gallery wall. I am going to paint the bottom 3 feet of one wall with magnetic and chalkboard paint. I need to find another bookshelf, a taller one, and I plan on either building or buying a desk from Ikea. I want a super long one with some cabinets underneath or some storage! I can't wait til it's all done!

My wife and I are adding raised panel wainscoting to our dining room.  We're doing it from scratch.

We built our house about 2 years ago, just before our son was born, and we're finally starting to realize there are some things we wish we had done differently or paid more attention to design-wise. For instance, our fireplace has this ugly art deco look to it, with a stacked, boxy looking mantle and an arched cutout above it. We'll be knocking that out and replacing it with a mossy colored stacked stone from floor to ceiling and a floating mantle made of natural/reclaimed wood above the fireplace. We're also installing a breakfast nook with built-in storage benches. So exciting!

Our current renovation project is building shelves for our garage so we can get it organized! And my current DIY craft is scrapbooking our wedding pics!

We are doing a full house renovation!  We bought my husband's great Aunt's 1942 house in December and we have gutted and been redoing the whole thing ever since!  New plumbing, electrical, dry wall, insulation, siding, windows and the works!  All while planning a wedding!  We were married March 31st so hopefully we will get the house done soon and be out of my parent's bonus room!

We recently added a third bedroom to our townhome.  We originally had a loft that overlooked our living room and the living room had 20ft ceilings.  We added a bedroom over the living room by adding a floor and walling the loft in.  We are in love with how our new recessed ceiling in the living room turned out.  Now we are putting the finishing touches on the new bedroom with paint, carpet, wood, trim, and the door- we haven't even begun to decorate yet and that will be a lot of work!  

Furthermore, while the whole house was pulled apart to make room for construction we also took on the task of repainting all of our walls.  After 6 years in our home it definitely needed it and things are looking almost new again!

We're working on "redecorating" our patio so that we can host some bbqs this summer.  We're theming towards "tiki", so we're putting up torches, bamboo mats, tropical flowers, etc.  Next up is new patio furniture.

We just finished a mini makeover for our master bedroom - new yellow paint, DIY art for the wall, new bedding & curtains, changing up shelving in the closet, etc. Next up is figuring out how to take down and spray paint the metal sections on our ceiling fans to get rid of the shiny brass.

I'm working on several projects: some finishing touches in the kitchen, a fireplace project and a family room makeover.

I'm working on my nursery.  I'm keeping it gender neutral, and going with a natural soft mustard like yellow on the walls.  Then a peacock mural with black frames and furniture.

I just finished painting ht walls last weekend.

Our next project that we're ramping up is finishing our office. We need to finish the built-ins that don't go all the way to the ceiling, put in a custom reading bench, paint, and start from the ground up.

There will be yellow paint involved and I can't wait to finish!

My husband and I are doing a complete first floor renovation. We're replacing all the old flooring with hardwood floors and tile, re-painting the walls, re-finishing the kitchen cabinets (along with adding a few), and putting in new countertops. We're hoping that the design also allows for an island in the kitchen.

We are making the selections for our new home.  We just met with the cabinet vendor and are selecting countertops next.  The build process is slow but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end (hopefully!).

We just had granite installed in our kitchen and are waiting for our tile to come in to  install a tile back splash.  After that, we will be repainting our master bedroom/bathroom.

We are currently working in redoing my den. Next piece to go in is the window seat we are building. :-))

We just bought a foreclosure, so the list is really long!

We're hiring out the roof repair and electrical work (the whole house is K&T and needs to be rewired).

We'll be doing the rest ourselves, including repairing the plaster after the electrical work, refinishing the cabinets in the kitchen, installing new counters, repairing broken tiles in the kitchen floor, adding built-in seating in the breakfast nook, installing appliances, reglazing and repairing windows, and installing a new tub and surround in both bathrooms.

I'm trying to figure out how to have our master bathroom remodeled!  We're gutting the entire thing.  I can't wait to have a huge tub and makeup station!!!

I just finished building a new coop for my chicken to live in. After spending way more time and effort on it that I originally planned, I'm happy with how it turned out. Lets hope the chicken likes it!
