So yesterday was my wedding anniversary......
I felt fine all day. I had random thoughts of our wedding day. AND then my EXH emailed me saying how weird the day felt and how he remember how pretty I was. Ugh. It totally took me back to a place of missing my old life in some weird way. Im happy where I am now but it just seems like a lifetime ago that this all happened. I dont even feel like it was me just two years ago.
Ok vent over just had to share for all of you with upcoming anniversaries

I like to have an anti-versary dinner with my friends. It's much more fun that way!
Mine was July 14 ... the first year was hard. After that, I really didn't care.
The anniversary's a tricky thing. I just try to focus on the fact that it was a lovely day and try not to get too sad. That's easier said than done, of course.
I was thrown for a loop recently when my ex dropped off a box of things that I'd forgotten I'd left at the house (which is now going up on the market). Our wedding album was included. It was kind of hard to page through, but I couldn't help it.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
My first post-divorce anniversary is coming up soon on May 19th. My Co-worker's 3 year son birthday party is that day so it will keep me busy.
My wedding was beautiful and I will always cherish that day even though the marriage did not work out the way I had hoped.
It'll be my 2nd post-divorce anniversary, but this was mine too (May 19, 2007)!
I don't really actually think about it other than knowing it was then.
I didn't remember mine until the end of the day. This was my first year post split too. Although I do look at the clock almost everyday when it's the corresponding time, which bugs me.
