My BIL just got back from Afghanistan. After craving oysters the whole time... he's making my bf and I and sister double date for oysters tonight. Haha don't know if I'm looking forward to oysters.
I took a really nice nap this afternoon. Shame on me..
My car got hit in a hit and run. Although the driver came back to give me his insurance information (which thank GOODNESS is valid) and then drove off before the police got there. Awesome.

I have a sunburn on my butt b/c I forgot to apply sunscreen there yesterday when I was swimming laps. Now everything I do makes my butt hurt. LOL
Our local HD smells (only outside) like grape cough syrup. No kidding.
Although we're looking at houses, we can't really afford to stay in the same area where we're renting at the moment. And we really like it here. So I'm considering just saying screw it and becoming chronic renters.
Thanks to D&R, I finally scheduled an eye exam. I will be so embarrassed at how old my contacts are I will force myself to wear glasses so I don't get scolded. My SIL worked there and got me a bunch for cheap so I haven't gone too overboard, but they will know they're old because they "revamped" them and they look different.
Also, I really want a chocolate milkshake but we're trying to cut back on eating out/frivolous spending.

Haha on this note of mixing up words... I used to be afraid (when I lived at home in high school) that when my mom would say "Need anything from the grocery store?", I would say 'condoms' instead of 'tampons'. Lol. The kicker?? I had never even seen nor needed the use of a condom until far after I moved out of my parents house! Random! Lol.
That would be like the time I was driving with my mom on a very busy highway, going over a large bridge when describing a scene from a childhood cartoon to my mom about "Pickled Dodo Eggs" and I instead said "Pickled Dild0 Eggs" (had to type that to not be censored). You can imagine I was MORTIFIED!!! But then we both laughed so hard that I had a hard time concentrating on the traffic.
